STEAM Club

 
 
Bella Vista PTA is excited to offer an after-school club focused on providing hands-on learning opportunities in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). We plan to start with a class of 25 students. Apart from the hands-on experience, the aim is to enjoy the experience as they learn. The kids will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.
 
Registration for Session 1 is completed. 
 
 
1. Lower Grade STEAM Club - Session 1
 
Dates: Wednesdays (9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3)
Time: 1:50 pm to 2:50 pm
Location: STEAM Club Classroom
 
Criteria: Open to students from TK to 2nd grade.

2. Upper Grade STEAM Club - Session 1
 
Dates: Wednesdays (08/29, 09/05, 09/12, 09/19)
Time: 1:50 pm to 2:35 pm
Where: Makers Space (besides the library)
 
Criteria: Open to students from 3rd to 5th grade.

Students of Grades 1-5 participating in the program, will have a 10-min break after school before the session starts.   
Note that, for TK and K students who would like to join the club, a parent should accompany the student.  
After the session, TK and K students can leave with their parents and students of Grades 1-5 can be picked up at the gate near the flagpole.  
 
We have a limited space for the first 25 students. After that number, we will have a waitlist, and contact the parent with the waitlisted spots.

* We suggest a donation of $30 so that we can cover the cost of materials.
* Please note that if we don’t have a basic minimum number of parent volunteers for a particular session, we will not be able to conduct the session on that day.
